Sky Links Capital Names Hormoz Faryar Managing Director for Institutional Growth
Sky Links Capital Group has hired former Credit Suisse VP Hormoz Faryar as Managing Director to lead institutional business expansion.
Sky Links Capital Group has appointed Hormoz Faryar as Managing Director, the Dubai-based firm announced, tapping a veteran with more than 25 years of institutional electronic foreign-exchange trading experience to accelerate its push into institutional markets.
Faryar previously served as a Vice President at Credit Suisse, where he built expertise across institutional e-FX operations. His appointment signals Sky Links Capital's intent to deepen relationships with large-scale institutional clients and broaden its trading infrastructure at a time when competition for institutional flows in the Gulf region remains intense.

The hire reflects a broader trend among regional financial firms seeking to recruit globally seasoned talent as Dubai cements its status as a hub for institutional trading and asset management. Sky Links Capital did not disclose financial terms of the appointment.
Faryar's quarter-century track record in institutional trading is expected to position Sky Links Capital to compete more directly with established international brokerages and banks that have expanded their Gulf presences in recent years. Analysts note that e-FX is among the fastest-growing segments of institutional finance, driven by automation and demand for tighter spreads.
