Centalion, Komgo Deploy AI Agent for Real-Time Treasury Ops
Centalion's AI treasury agent integrates with Komgo's Konsole platform to accelerate trade finance processing while preserving human oversight.
Centalion and Komgo have jointly deployed an agentic artificial intelligence system designed to streamline real-time treasury operations, the companies announced from Geneva. The AI agent, developed by Centalion, operates through Komgo's Konsole platform via a Model Context Protocol connector, targeting faster handling of trade finance instruments.
The integration focuses on cutting processing delays that have historically slowed trade finance workflows. By embedding the AI agent directly into Komgo's existing infrastructure, the partnership aims to compress timelines without requiring firms to overhaul their core systems or compliance frameworks.

Despite the automation layer, both companies emphasized that human governance and approval mechanisms remain fully intact. The system is designed so that agentic AI handles routine processing tasks while human operators retain decision-making authority at critical checkpoints, a structure intended to satisfy regulatory and risk-management requirements in financial services.
The deployment reflects a broader industry push to apply agentic AI — systems capable of taking sequential, goal-directed actions — to back-office finance functions where speed and accuracy carry direct commercial consequences. Trade finance, with its reliance on complex documentation and multi-party coordination, has been identified as a sector particularly suited to this class of automation.
